Dr. Piper has always felt that being a great leader involves more than great clinical and technical skill. Giving back to the community is a very important part of who he is as a person and a big part of his effort to help those who may need a helping hand.
By volunteering services and materials through programs such as Donated Dental Services via the Dental Lifeline Network, Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services, and Gulf Coast Dental Outreach, Dr. Piper and his team help individuals who are less fortunate to receive the dental care they need at either little or no cost.
The team also continues to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in the Pinellas County.
Dr. Piper is also a member of Flying Doctors of America, a team of healthcare providers who volunteer their time, money, and skill to communities in third world nations. Flying Doctors of America has helped over 300,000 men, women and children from all over the world since 1990.
